I have been a real estate investor in Northern Illinois since 2007, I am also a licensed real estate agent (IL & FL) and have been since 2006. I started out as an aggressive new agent helping investors buy and sell their rehab properties. I quickly realized I was on the wrong side of that transaction and that is when I decided to become a real estate investor myself. These days my primary focus as an investor is residential redevelopment (aka rehabbing). I buy, renovate and sell residential properties in Chicago and its suburbs. Since I got into the real estate business I have been involved in over 450 transactions. My real estate investing company is Yellow Star Properties, LLC and we do 8-10 rehabs at any one time.

In 2011 I started coaching for a big national real estate investing education company. It was great and I truly got so much out of coaching the students. Some were brand new and I would help them get their first deal and others were seasoned investors looking for new ways and systems to help grow and automate their existing businesses. It was kind of funny too, every week my schedule was booked with both (new and seasoned) investors and all they wanted to ask me about was this “MLS stuff” (3 years later MLS Domination® was born). The reason I decided to start coaching in the first place was selfishly to be able to attend their private, coaches only mastermind event they hold twice a year. Though over time the company grew so much that it just wasn’t really one-on-one coaching anymore and was more of a corporate environment and it just was no longer a good fit.  After about a year passed, I really missed coaching and advising others to help them reach their real estate investing goals. So I started my own true one-on-one coaching group known now as Real Estate Investor Academy®. This group is closed now but I only worked with a very small group of students because of the intense one-on-one time this requires in order to produce results. Due to the high demand for my coaching program, and since I couldn’t take everyone in I started a group coaching program. This is a great, intimate, small group environment to interact with other investors from all over the country. You get to ask your own questions and hear questions that otherinvestors are asking too. This always adds a ton of insight to all of the members in the group.  Real Estate Investor Academy® is where I teach real estate investors how to take their business to a whole new level.

In 2014 I created MLS Domination®. MLS Domination is an online course that teaches you how to use the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to get a steady predictable stream of deeply discounted deals (and income) for your real estate investing business. Currently the only group or any kind of coaching I do is in the MLS Domination online platform.
